Churches and groups
How church and group sign-up works
Sign up once, add your drivers, and each person has a short video call. Nothing is uploaded or kept.
Who this is for
Churches and groups whose commercial vehicles are registered to the group and covered by its commercial insurance.
Six steps, in order
Sign up your group
Give your group's name, region and the early voting sites your vehicles will drive to. Add your own name, mobile phone and email, and your commercial vehicles with their seats and whether they have a wheelchair lift. We never ask for license plates.
Pick how you want to be video called
Choose FaceTime, WhatsApp or a video meeting link. For FaceTime or a link, the coordinator phones you first. For WhatsApp, they audio call you first and ask to turn video on.
Show your group's documents
On the call, show your commercial vehicle insurance and each vehicle's registration. Documents on your phone? Share your screen. Paper? Hold each one up to the camera. The coordinator ticks what they saw and keeps no copies.
Your group is approved
You get a text, and your group page shows where everything stands. Approval is for the group's vehicles only: each driver still has their own call.
Add your drivers
From your group page, add each driver with their name, mobile phone, email if they have one, the vehicle they drive, the languages they speak and how to video call them. You can add drivers before the group is approved. Each one gets a text about their own call.
Drivers have their call and start driving
Each driver shows their license and a recent DMV driving record. They do not show insurance: your group's commercial policy covers the vehicle. After approval they sign in, offer shifts and drive.
What to have ready
For your group's call
- Your group's commercial vehicle insurance

For each driver's call
- The driver's license
- A recent DMV driving record
Good to know
Do we upload anything?
No. Documents are checked live on the call. Only what the coordinator ticked and who made the call is saved.
Can a driver be approved before our group?
No. A coordinator approves the group first, then each driver. Drivers can offer shifts while they wait, but riders can only book once the driver is approved.
Can we add more vehicles later?
Yes. Add them from your group page at any time. The sign-up form takes up to 10 at once.
What if someone can't switch to video?
The coordinator can offer another method, or ask for paper documents. If the call can't happen, the person stays on "Waiting for a video call".
